The Team

Currently, Fat Walrus Games consists of two people:

Philippe Sabourin - primarily concentrating on the client side of development, written in Flash/ActionScript using the Flex IDE.

Chad Hall - works on the server side of development, written in Java using Eclipse.

Both work on the design of the code, and both have dabbled on the other side of the engine when necessary.

Luke Gravitt hangs out with the team providing help with some of the game design.

We'll soon be looking to add more design oriented people to the team to make the games/interface look good.

Introduction

Welcome to Fat Walrus Games' development blog.

Fat Walrus Games (FWG) was created in late 2009 as a game development studio with the goal of creating many multiplayer Flash games. It will concentrate on putting out high quality multiplayer games that are interconnected with a single lobby, chat and achievements system.

Currently FWG is working hard on an in-depth game engine so that when the time comes, games will be easy to create and very robust. Over the next few months posts will be made here to talk about the technical details as well as the games themselves.

The website holding these games will be found here.
